How FortisKap Works
Traditional pill bottle caps provide very little security or deterrence against illicit or unintentional use of prescription medications. This lack of security or assisted-guidance for prescription drugs largely contributes to the rise in opioid and prescription drug abuse in the United States.
The intended goal of FortisKap is to secure prescription medications and to deter against theft or abuse. In doing so, Cosmos also hopes the statistics collected by FortisKap will be crucial in helping to identify concerning trends in prescription drug use to then assist in providing preemptive patient support or intervention before the onset of addiction.
FortisKap was created to act as a substitute for traditional prescription medication bottle caps and is compatible with prescription bottles from all major U.S. Pharmacies. Its patented design includes a fingerprint scanner and usage-tracking technology to provide unwavering prescription security and accurate prescription usage habits.
